Why trance?

I am not clear on why a "trance" is part of your intervention. The imagery you suggest might have some positive effect, but it seems to cement the problem as residing in the boy, versus the family system. I would be curious to know more about that system, and how "trance" might be employed from more of a systems perspective to help the boy, and his family, out.
