    Past Lives

I was recently approached by someone requesting a past life regression. Having not made up my mind as to whether this is a true phenomenon or imaginary, I did some research into some of the writings out there on this. I found most of the scripts dealing with this to be filled with pre-suppositions, projections on the part of the therapists, and unhealthy. I am very concerned about this. However, since the client believes in it, I believe in utilizing this belief. In "Time Distortion and Hypnosis" Erickson cautions agains believe too literally in age-regression and the ideas reported back. I am interested in your thoughts on this topic.
