To the extent that you can feel comfortable to do so on a public board such as this, could you give us more details on this story and its effect? I'm familiar with several tasks from My Voice Will Go With You and other books, but never heard of this one before. I'd be just as interested in what task Erickson gave you as in how its meaning has changed for you over the years.
