Erickson's work and Social learning theory
Jesse Kessinger · 01/05/03 at 7:25 PM ET

I have been rereading much of erickson's work lately. I have noticed how many of his students have explained his work through different theoretical orientations such as systems theory or ego psychology. To me, many of the interventions can adequately be explained through social learning theory. I find this type of explination to be more parsimonious and thus testable and falsifiable. Any thoughts and opinions?
