The actors in the play bring their own stories to the play and so there is a drama within the drama. My son, who had a structural foot anomaly, played soccer anyway to mixed results (only his family knew)and we loved his play.
We might just consider if those who love us best are those that know us best. Who is it (other than yourself) that knows you best? Isn't understanding often the difference between judgement and compassion?
Too bad (it seems the essence of pathology) that Tonya and many others need to be unknown to be "loved". This is the essence of Narcissism isn't it? Don't Narcissists relish mystical distant spiritual love?
