    Re:Erickson and therapeutic humor

Thanks for your reply Ed. There are of course countless examples
of jokes and humorous anecdotes that can be applied in a thera-
    peutic context.

But that is not what I am looking for.

I am looking for specific references to Erickson's case examples
or writings indicating Erickson using therapeutic humor for a
    scientific paper.

I read again and again thet Milton H. Erickson was a very humor-
ous person. But at least the secondary literature (e.g. Hudson
O'Hanlon & Hexum's Uncommon Casebook, 1990) often times do not
mention the humorus aspects of the treatment in his cases. The
extremely creative aspects of his work is highlited yes, but the
humorous side can often times only be guessed.

I can only highlight Erickson's early role in the development of
therapeutic humor, if I find specific references to ***his***
case examples or writings indicating ***him*** using therapeutic
    humor.

    Greetings,

    Philip
