You have accidently done what many other do. You are asking about a reference to the work of Erik Homburger Erikson who is oreinted toward the clinical study of individual human crises by becoming therapeutically involved in them. His work is nicely summarized in the 1950 book CHILDHOOD AND SOCIETY by Norton Press. This does not specifically answer your concern about this other theorist, of course. However, this forum is about the work of Milton Hyland Erickson, MD. He is often confused with the better publicised Erik. The key is the spelling of the last name. For therapy referrals, nevertheless, call the Erickson Foundation 602-956-6196.
