    I think I am paraphrasing Erickson who said that life is painful enough; therapy need not be painful.

    Arousal can empower change but it does not always need to be through negative emotions, it can be accessed through positive emotions.

    Bill O'Hanlon and Steve Lankton have been teaching workshop on treating trauma without drama.

    Boyne is a lay hypnotist in California. I know nothing of his methods.
