I wonder what he wanted that he contacted you only once in that way. Aside from combining my comment with the other comment about his lack of a partner/marriage, etc., I guess this didn't stimulate much interest here.
BTW, why did you think if was a sincere person and not, say , a research project (created perhaps on the forum of different therapy approaches, for instance). If it were one, it is a very well done one, to be sure. But, anyway, is that what leads you to think it is sincere of is there something else?
