A sense of humor and the unconscious
Jim Van Wyck · 07/18/01 at 2:49 PM ET

I have heard it said that
"Dr. Erickson wrote that the so-called unconscious has no sense of humor and it processes information literally and linearly."
    Does this reflect his thoughts?
    Was he right?
And was his position consistent with the way he ran a session?

Do modern "Ericksonians" have a view on this issue?

    Kind regards.
