Yes, Emily. Yours is a great example of Utilization. You had the courage to playfully utilize the clay; they reciprocated by evolving the shape of the intervention.
I don't think family therapy will ever die. It just has not lived up to its initial promise of replacing individual therapies. Good clinicians use both intrapsychic and interpersonal approaches.
So, Mark. Did you spend time with Erickson? I would welcome it if you and
others who knew Erickson would use this opportunity to share stories.
