Dr. Erickson did not ever meet Leary. He did not respect him after that LSD path Leary chose. In defense of the brilliant work done by Leary/LaForge on the "Interpersonal Check List," I suggested to Dr. Erickson that too many of academics may have made the error of 'throwing the baby out with the bathwater' by shunning Leary's earlier 1957 work. He nodded that I seemed to make a good arguement. He didn't say he agreed. That was the extent of the conversation about it between Dr. Erickson and me.
