Dear Karl,I rember working with an epileptic client once, even though the central issue was his brain cancer. He occasionaly had a petit-mal fit during trance. It seemed to me - and the client confirmed it - that during these episodes the trance deepend observably, the internal processes seemed to carry on and perhaps even speed up during the fits. So, at least petit mal fits seem to me to be perhaps even trance-related states, during wich hypnotiv phenomena can be observed and utilised. Or, to put it inmore provoking terms: perhaps epilepsy is an indication for thze use of hypnosis? I know there is not much to conclude from a single client, but there is much to think about...
