Re:autistic child, can EMDR help?

One or two clinicians have said that they have had good luck using EMDR with autistic kids. However, they provided little detail and I am skeptical until I learn more. On the other hand, I have had no success using EMDR with Aspergers kids, and I have spoken with a number of clinicians who likewise have had not been successful in trying EMDR with autistic kids.

Therefore, I would say that while anything is possible, it's not a place to put your hopes.
