EMDR, trauma history &psychic abilities

After treating a client for several years for a long history of multiple forms of abuse in childhood I referred her for EMDR. Client has experienced heightened awareness of abuse as well as an increase of in psychic ability. Client has been experiencing an increase in psychic energy of peers with the onset of EMDR. She had been able to control this to some degreeie sense of protecting self or filtering it until the onset of EMDR. Client is experiencing a feeling of being out of control, difficulty concentrating, and increase in dream activity. Has anyone had any experience in this area?
