Re:Possible suggestions for loss of treatment gains over time with EMDR

I appreciate the energetic response of Dr. Greenwald here --and wish to underscore a key point from my clinical experience with EMDR, namely this: I have never once seen deterioration of treatment effects over time. I have seen continuation and generalization of treatment effects over time. It is customary to have new layers of issues "peel up" over time, but that is not deterioration, it is more like a sliver that keeps working its way to the surface as healing proceeds.
