Great questions. First off, you may wish to scan this forum and its archives for information related to the specific conditions you mentioned. Some of them have been discussed previously. Secondly, from the very origin of EMDR, Francine Shapiro was aware of the effect of eye movements on disturbing responses to ill health. Various people have been applying it to a range of health conditions, and I'd refer you to the second edition of Francine's book, pages 234, for the protocol for illness and somatic disorders. The EMDR Institute or Humanitarian Assistance Program (HAP) sell a manual for the use of EMDR with chronic pain (Mark Grant's work). It's been used post-head injury with good results as to the adjustment process (case reports only). Future templating can be very powerful to help people imagine a vivid future vision of themself coping with their changed health status. Sandra Wilson and Bob Tinker have written about its use with phantom pain. There are likely other health applications I haven't mentioned or don't know about. Perhaps others will post too.
