Hi all, I need help in trying to fully understand about my own experience as online therapist. I have been offering this service for almost two years now. I am very much aware of the advantageous of it and I considered myself as supporter of online therapy ( I only do email counselling). Lately I have difficulty in term of being so caught up in my client's problem. I have hard times waiting for their response and that "they are always on my mind'. When I ask them questions, some of them did not answer few of them. I feel like doing a 'guessing game'. Can someone share their experience with me. By the way, I am also a post graduate student researching on online counseling with mandated clients. English is not my first language. Has there any research on the multicultural aspect of online therapy. Thanks to all and to John Suler for his writings on 'psychology of cyberspace'.
