Suitability of the research problem

Respected Prof.John,

After reading the literature, I have found that, the critical cyberspace cultural studies right now engaged in online interaction and ergonomics.

Since I am from developing countries, my exposure to cyberspace culture is very limited. As the person involved in this field for the years, you could guide me in the relevant area.

The study about the users of online communities such as newsgroup, IRC, and mailing list is relevant to contemporary theoretical develpment in this field. Is this latest one? Is this emerging area or already lot of people studied the user's role in online communities?

I am doing doctorate in communication in India.
