Online/virtual communities, the most intersting aspects
Joke Kort · 09/07/01 at 3:39 PM ET

I'm working for two years now on online communities for a telecom operator (research department). Research in this area never seems to end :-) Though my (our) research is usually focused on creating business opportunities, I lately found some time to focus on the widher context. Of course you can take different views on virtual communities, from a focus on business to a more social perspective (relevance). When you look at communities from these different points of view, there are many questions which are interesting to do research on. Now my question is... I would like to know what you think are the most pressing questions to answer. What whould you like to know about virtual communities, or what do you think is absolutely necessary to know about virtual communities, their success and there effect on people?
