Call for Research Participants: Surveys and Interviews
Subject: Client's / Consumer's Experience of Online Mental Health Services
    Location: http://www.yorku.ca/sbiggs/

My name is Stephen Biggs and I am a doctoral candidate in Clinical Psychology at York University, Toronto, Canada. I am conducting research on the experience of individuals who have received (or are currently receiving) online mental health services or e-therapy. For the purposes of this study, online mental health services or e-therapy is defined as counselling or psychotherapy conducted via email or chat, in an individual or group context (or any activity considered to be analogous to those just described).

Interested individuals are asked to fill out a brief survey, describing their experience of online counselling or psychotherapy. Participants who fill out the survey will be entered into a draw to win an online gift
certificate redeemable at Amazon.com ($25 US) or Chapters.ca ($35 Canadian).

Interested individuals are also given the option of volunteering for a follow up online interview, to further describe their experience. Eligible participants who agree to take part in the online interview will be reimbursed at the rate of ($10 US, $15 Canadian) per hour.

TO PARTICIPATE, or for more information go to: http://www.yorku.ca/sbiggs/ and look for the link marked E-therapy Survey.

This project has been approved by the Human Participants Research Committee at York University, Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

Participation is open to individuals 21 years of age or older residing in Canada or the United States.
