Re:Gender versus professional determination of written styles

Yes, I have had the same experience, "what a kind, thoughtful person" and then I realised it was a guy. What is really funny is that men are rather generous about sharing their feelings over the e-mail; I've received several messages from different men containing incredibly personal, intimate, and emotionaly-loaded material, something I have seldom experienced in face-to-face conversations. They often say they cann't share these "feelings" with their wives, or girlfriends, and when I ask them if they have ever tried, some say "my wife doesn't listen to me". Ain't that incredible?????

    Regards. Alex.
