There's a lovely range of materials on the Enneagram. There's the sobering http://skepdic.com/enneagr.html .

However, the enneagram could be seen as a narrative anchor. After all, life is rather complex and variable. Do we need more small talk though? If so, there's the http://www.intl-enneagram-assn.org/webring.html filled people who keep the magic going.
