Intercultural Issues in HCI

I'm preparing a paper about the innovative capacity of the Cognitive sciences in the communication process.
I've started looking around and i've found the hyperbook the psychology of cyberspace (wondeful) and this link.
For my thesis I'd start from the different theories of the mind and its functionality, then I'd choose the one suitable to interpretate the actual human mind/computer interaction. Since the internet is a WWW thing with which minds of people from everywhere in the world come in touch and interrelate, I need to discover which are the main intercultural issues or variables involved in this relation.
