RL Deficiency Syndrome

I read a newspaper report about a conference or article on ' RL Deficiency Syndrome'. I believe this was a report on a conference held in the USA. Can anybody help with details of this research. The main upshot of the article was defects in real life behaviour from excessive time in virtual reality. I would be grateful if anybody could help.
