CDD, a new name for an old disorder (humor)
Lee Darrow · 03/10/04 at 2:36 PM ET

Yep! You heard it here first, unless you subscribe to some of the other online groups that I post to, that is! - CDD, the dreaded disorder that seems to be sweeping the nation.

This horrible disorder is characterized by a lack of the ability to make a logical connection between obvious and provable points, willfully ignoring information, denying scientifically demonstrable effects and a steadfast holding to an easily disprovable opinion.

This, my colleagues, is CLUE DEFECIT DISORDER.

Current estimates indicate that every person on this planet knows at least three individuals that suffer from this debilitating condition. Unfortunately, treatment prognosis is generally not too positive as those with CDD will often cling to their mistaken beliefs in the face of even the harshest of reality checks, debating rebuttals, logic and even gravity.

So, if you know someone with CDD, do your best to help them. After all, it's not their fault that they're clueless!

    With tongue firmly in cheek,

    Lee Darrow
