Control-Mastery theory and negative sequelae of abortion in males
Michael Simon · 4/25/97 at 7:31 PM ET

Its nice to see continuing lively discussion of Control-Mastery theory. I've recently finished a thesis on the application of Control-Mastery insights to the study of the negative sequelae of abortion in male partners. The work draws heavily on the insights of Lynn O'Connor, Joe Weiss, Hal Sampson and others, as well as the work of Don Nathanson, and folks working in evolutionary psychology. If you're interested in an ongoing dialogue, or might want a copy of that paper, please contact me at msimon@sfsu.edu until June 1, 1997, and after that, through the SFPRG office, via mail...I'm sure they'll be glad to pass on the request.
