Research Group continues a commitment to bringing Control
Mastery theory and its clinical applications to a
national and international audience.

WORKSHOP INFORMATION
Morning Sessions-
The two-hour morning sessions will use case transcripts to
illustrate the theory and show its clinical applications.
Separate sessions will be offered for returnees and for first time Workshop participants. Returning participants can
present their own case material in the morning group.
One 2-hour morning session is followed by a lunch break and
then two 2-hour afternoon sessions each day.
The two-hour afternoon sessions will include discussions of
the nature of the therapeutic process; plan formulations;
assessment of therapeutic change; dreams; and the comparison of this theory with other psychoanalytic (and
some non-analytic) theories of the mind and therapy.
In small case conferences, the theory will be applied to
treatment of adults, children, adolescents, difficult cases,
persons abusing drugs or alcohol, persons in crisis, adults
abused as children, and couples therapy. Participants are
encourages and invited to present their own cases.
We will present our latest research methods and findings
and hold discussions with interested colleagues as well as
with investigators who would like to pursue related lines of
research.
Workshop participant may choose among research, clinical or
theoretical area classes in the afternoon sessions. Special
plenary sessions will be offered on some afternoons and
participants will have the opportunity to have a no fee
private case consultations with a Control-Mastery therapist.
We will be offering you the chance to have a no fee private
75-minute case consultation with a Control-Mastery
therapist as part of your schedule. With a few exceptions,
we will be arranging these consultations for Thursday, March
6th from 3:15 until 4:30 p.m. If you are interested in
meeting with a consultant during this time, please check the
box on the registration form which indicates your interest.

L.C.S.W.s/M.F.C.C.s: SFPRG is a provider approved by the
Board of Behavioral Sciences, Provider Number
PCE104, for CE credit on an hour-for-hour basis.
Physicians attending this Workshop may report, on an
hour-for-hour basis, Category 1 credit.
MCEP regulations have allowed the CMA credit
provider status of SFPRG to satisfy MCEP credit
requirements, resulting in psychologists being able to
directly report their SFPRG CME credits to MCEP.
Psychologists attending this Workshop may report hour for- hour toward their CE requirements.
