    EMDR and control mastery theory

    I am wondering if anyone has looked at the similarities and differences between EMDR (eye movement desensitization and reprogramming) and control mastery theory. The techniques of both theories seem to attempt to correct the pathogenic beliefs that dominate and sabotage a person's attempt at more healthy functioning.
