Re: Conscious vs. Unconscious Processes

I just don't know how to tell the difference between consciousness and unconsciousness. When I am dreaming I truly believe I am awake. When I am awake I think I am awake, but maybe I'm not. And why can't we think as freely while we are conscious? Would that be dangerous??
