To Narcissus' Wife:

You have my sympathy. I have often wondered about what it must be like to be married to someone like your husband, and my son. I fear for my son's future wife, and assume that marriage to any woman with a modicum of self-assurance will not last.

What HAVE you told your children? What do you tell yourself? What was he like before you got married?
