Manipulative Behavior

I am conducting research on manipulative behavior. Anyone with information or research suggestions would be appreciated. I am particularly interested in what is known in some circles as the"steps" of a set-up, as it relates to the process of behavior manipulation.

This type of manipulation is often recognized in cult recruiting; as well as in the jail/correctional environment.
