    Re: Does it really matter if clients do homework?

    As Judith Beck has written, yes, indeed, the client's homework is a necessary and integral part of the therapeutic process. "Homework" signifies that the student is actively working on the "problem", and thus, that he/she invests energy and thought in his/her own progress - as any student must.
