I realize that this is probably not the right place for this question, but I have searched the web and can't find any information. We are dealing with an adult who lies about everything. Small things, insignifant ( to us ) things and big things. He is very nosey and likes to know everything about anything. He is very friendly and likes to be liked. Having people make small talk seems to keep him feeling good about himself. He is pretty shallow but sharp witted and glib in conversations. Now that he has been challenged he has turned into a very underhand person and is doing lots of bazaar things to prove himself right. He still feels he has done nothing wrong even when presented with firm evidence. Any reading information or places to go to find out more about the above would be greatly appreciated
It has caused a huge problem in the family and now there is a possibility of divorce, as the mate has only just seen this person in true light, so to speak. We are now seeing it crop up in one of the children and are panicked by this.
There is also a history of schizophrenia in his family and one of the siblings (male) has been diagnosed but it had not been openly admitted by the family.
