Dear colleagues: I have come into this discussion late and have not read all the sessions subsequent to Dr.Kusch's initial presenation. In this way,one can start to make assumptions and hypotheses from which we might predict what the therapy will be about and what tests and what problems the suffering man will present the therapst and what the client will need to the theraoist to do in order to relieve his life-long suffering.
I have written some pre-therapy thoughts about the psychopathology of homosexuality and posted it(instead of in Oct 1999,they are written as a reply to the first presentation by the therapist;in the Summer of 1999) and they reflect my ideas about why the homosexuality has to be seen as a constellation of problems and what causes that.Only by having a theory of psychopathology can we know where to focus and what to look for in helping this man overcome his crippling problems.
I hope this doesn't detract or distract from the major focus of this case presentation.
