Although it seemed like a good idea to space out these clinical case installments, the month-long delay was unintentional. My computer broke down, taking with it years of everything I wrote but did not publish (most of it is on a tape backup, but the drive mechanism of the tape system broke at the same time and we're working to transfer that information to another vehicle) and all the little electronic notebooks with all the e-mail addresses I need to correspond with people. The technicians spent more than 2 weeks on it, replacing every piece of it one at a time, but it still limps along and I don't have my old files. Gremlins are more real than you might think. I'm about ready to switch from the Internet to homing pigeons. Again, my apologies for the delay.
Also, we've been working hard on the preparations for the 4th annnual Tomkins Institute meeting, this year on the concepts underlying the duration of therapy from Brief to Interminable. Click into the part of BOL where we've got that information stored to see what I mean.
