I responded to the question you asked about what part of the post gave me my initial reaction. It was not intended to be offensive. If you didn't want a critque then why ask the question for me to elaborate. I was not attempting to compare myself to your client but I probably do understand where she is a lot more than you give me credit for. I stand by what I said. I still also suggest that may want to refer this client to another therapist who has the skill, training and knowledge to help her. I also don't think that a female perspective is that important in this case.
