Re:looking for good training material for tx of children

You might take a look at the books by Ann Vernon from Research Psychologists Press. They are aimed at groups, but most of the ideas can be adapted to children. The Albert Ellis web site has lots of resourses for tx with kids. You might also look at both the National Associationof School Psychologists web site, as well as the behavioral science book service web site.

Finally, a little free advice: In my experience, an hour of consultation and coaching with the parents of the child in question is worth 5 to 10 hours with the child in terms of behavior change. If you are interested in resouces for that endeavor, contact me at Totally_booked@hotmail.com
