    Frustrated Client
    LL · 5/2/00 at 2:17 pm ET

Oooh, I have been through something similar! For days after a session *stuff* ould come boiling to the surface. *Stuff* I felt I needed to deal with RIGHT NOW.

Your therapist has a good point. The TWO OF YOU need to find a solution. Have the two of you talked about possible solutions? How about using the suggestion you offerred for yourself? Some other ideas for you to consider -
I would journal ALL the stuff that came up as it came up. Then a day or two before my next session I'd condense it to what I wanted to talk about. At first there was WAY more than would fit in one session. It forced me to learn to prioritize.

You don't say how often you see your therapist. Could you schedule appointments closer together?

    Good luck to you.
