Social Readjustment Rating Scale

I'm currently teaching a class in developmental psychology at a community/technical college. My students are almost all in the nursing program. The Holmes and Rahe Social Readjustment Rating Scale is in the text as part of a discussion of risk factors for physical/psychosomatic illness. My question: this is a 30-year-old research study!
