Passion is not a negative/pathologic state

References here were made to passion being a negative state of mind. Although it could be and by no daubt it is a consumming state of mind that depreciates a lot of energy (psychic and other) it seems like a necassary force of life and not just a pathologica recation based on childhood trauma. In fact, I think that the subject and not the object are relevant for the understanding of this concept.
