Challenge the research not the researchers

I read you response to my criticism of FC. I would like to stick to a discussion of the research not personalities. If you as a practitioner of FC could explain the research done by Wheeler and suggest an alternative explanation I would like to read it. Basically the autistic was asked to describe a picture shown to him by a researcher. The autistic individuals could not do the task when their facilitators had not also seen the picture. The facilitators that saw the picture had autistic subjects that could then through FC describe the pictures. By the way I have some experience with autism having lived with a son that is autistic.
