You do have options. You CAN divorce him, you CAN get a temporary protective order, you CAN go to a shelter or the home of family members, you CAN see a therapist, you CAN go to Al Anon,you CAN join a support group. you CAN demand that he be prosecuted for domestic violence. You DO have options. Or you could allow things to remain the way they are. You may get hurt, your kids may grow up to be abusers and/or victims, and your husband may wind up in prison. If he has a neurological disorder, he may be able to be treated. But until it's been diagnosed, don't assume. Best wishes.
