Dear Dara: If you are up for it, and have the time, I would like to engage in a dialog with you with respect to the issue of the interface of primary care medicine and clinical psychology. As I have said before, I think that this is quite a promising, if presently neglected, area and I am very interested in the opinion of someone such as yourself who has been a primary care practitioner. I think that if more primary care physicians and psychologists could talk together (and, perhaps collaborate), the average person seeking medical care would be better served. There are many people who read this forum who are experts on state-of-the-art behavioral/psychological interventions who, I would suspect, would be interested in your input. Best Regards, Troy
