Art Therapy K-12

I am presently a student at the University of Arkansas, and I am working on getting my teaching certificate to teach K-12 Art. The more I read about Art Therapy the more I get excited about possibly including some aspect of it (nondirected drawing perhaps) in a high school activity. Is this being done in a non special ed. situation? Also I would like to teach myself more about Art Therapy do you know any good resources? I truly appreciate your help.
