I have been asked to give a presentation on art therapy to a group of graduate counseling students. I am not an art therapist and therefore can only present them with factual data. Most of these student will be working in the field of school counseling and I was wondering if those of you out there working as art therapists might have some advice for these students. What kind of extra training might they need, to use art as a means of therapy? What are the advantages of using art therapy?
Please feel free to email me at email@example.com thank you for your help..
