There is a job opening at Dorothea Dix Hospital, a state
psychiatric facility in Raleigh, North Carolina. It is a
full-time position for a Creative Expressive Arts Therapist,
Mon.-Fri. 8a.m. - 5p.m. and rotated assigned weekends. The
applicant must have graduated from a 4-year program in one
of the Creative Arts Therapies fields, including Music Therapy,
Art Therapy, Drama Therapy, Poetry Therapy, & Dance/Movement
Therapy. Experience with adult/geriatric psychiatric population
is preferred. Salary will be in the NC state pay grade system
with a #67 range from ($25,438 - 41,521.) The salary will be determined
by level of education, years of NC state service and experience.
