How do you become a Music Therapist?

I am a senior in high school in Lincoln, Nebraska. I am interested in music therapy but am not sure what it is about. I want to help others by sharing my love for music and I know of a few colleges that offer bachelor degrees in this area but not masters degrees. I read somewhere that in order to become a fully certified music therapist, you must have a masters degree. Some other questions..... What is a day at work like for a music therapist? Where do you work? Please... anyone who is a music therapist or knows something about it, plese get back to me on this A.S.A.P.
