Announcing: PhotoTherapy Pre-Conference Course at AATA '98

Since many art therapists have wanted info, but not found any of us at AATA conferences over the past few years, we would like to let people know the following:

PhotoTherapy Pre-Conference Course

(and During-Conference Panel)

at the upcoming American Art Therapy Association Conference

in Portland, November 18-20, 1998

DESCRIPTION of the full-day Course

(Panel will briefly summarize the same):

Two early PhotoTherapy pioneers (JUDY WEISER, author of "PhotoTherapy Techniques - Exploring the Secrets of Personal Snapshots and Family Albums" and DAVID KRAUSS, co-editor of "PhotoTherapy and Mental Health"), along with two "next-generation" teacher-practitioners (KATHLEEN FERRARA, art therapist and PhotoTherapy Instructor at Marylhurst College, and LAURI MANNERMAA, PhotoTherapy therapist and trainer in Finland), will review the field's historical development, core concepts and major techniques, and explain the latest innovative practices and teaching approaches currently advancing the field.

Slide-illustrated case discussions from each presenter's particular specialization will balance this primarily didactic course.
