Behavior OnLine CREATIVE ARTS THERAPY INTERNATIONAL FORUM ARCHIVE, 1999

Consultation with a local art therapist might be necessary.

This type of question is difficult to be answered ethically without an assessment of the facilitator's skills, program, and goals. I suggest you consult with an art therapist in your area about this matter or engage an art therapist to do a skills development or experiential workshop at your clinic. Depending on where you are in the world, you should be able to contact an art therapist via the national, provincial or state professional association. You can get started tracking down the one that applies to you at http://www.arttherapy.bc.ca - and go to the 'useful links' page there.

    Good luck, Sophia Kelly
